Another super fun project! In my graphic design class, I had to make a book about any subject I wanted to (if I recall correctly). So I choose to make my book about the Sunset district of San Francisco. Now keep in mind I had just moved from an apartment on Clement street (near all the shops and restaurants) to a house in the Sunset… Near nothing. At the time I felt that the Sunset was boring (it still is), but now that I’m a little older, I can see the appeal of it. Anyway, this was fun to work on! I took mundane photos of the Sunset, then by hand I placed famous icons or art over the photos. Then I took a pictures of my mashups. This resulted in a series of images that spiced up the Sunset a bit!
