Art direction, 3D modeling, motion design, and editing. 

HP rolled out a new line of laser printers, and the brief called for illustrating how fast and colorful they were. I immediately thought of Danny Yount and the title credits for the Sherlock movies. He took a image of Robert Downey Jr, and animated it into an illustration. I thought that it was a pretty cool effect and thought it was perfect for this project. However, I did the reverse. I started with a drawing, and transformed it into an image.

I started by creating a sketch! However I was on a short timeline, and used Cinema 4D to do the sketches for me. Luckily HP provided CAD file for me. Then I did some After Effects magic and BLAM I got these really cool pieces.
